Two-hundred-and-twenty-two Springfield High School seniors received diplomas at the school’s 91st graduation ceremony, held in Austin Peay’s Dunn Center on Thursday, May 18.

Valedictorian Emma McClain Friedmann, Salutatorian Daniel Brent Drexler, and Senior Class President Emily Cowan each addressed their fellow graduates, challenging them to great things in the coming years.

Faculty member Angie Inman was chosen by the graduating class to be their commencement speaker.  She challenged the group to continue to be victorious in whatever endeavors they engage in as adults.

Many of these graduates are making plans to further their education and more than 100 have received scholarship awards, totaling $3,412,440 and representing 33 colleges, universities, and technical schools.
