Fundraising

Our first annual  "Queen of Hearts Beauty Pageant" was held in February. It was a huge success with over 40 girls participating.  Though exact totals were not ready for the February meeting we estimate over $2,200.00 was raised during this event! 

The "Raising School Spirit" walk-a-thon was held during School Spirit Week in October.  Each student was asked to obtain sponsors/donations for this event.  The walk-a-thon was held during school hours with each class participating by walking the nature trail and the grounds of the school. Each day of the week had a theme such as hat day and jersey day.  To conclude the week, each student was presented with a school spirit t-shirt and attended a pep rally. 

Our goal this year was set for $18,000.  Unfortunately, we fell short bringing in just under $13,000.  However, some money is still coming in and we are in the process of developing a ERES Bookstore.  More information concerning the bookstore will be available very soon!  We are hoping that the combined efforts will allow us to reach our goal and Superman will still make an appearance at our school!  We will keep you posted with a Superman Update!
