Mrs. Cynthie Sneed is our guidance counselor.  We are so lucky to have her.

All of our classrooms use some form of our "Character Counts" in their behavior systems.

Character Counts is a program that teaches Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Citizenship, and Caring.  Students who are caught exhibiting any of these traits might receive a 'Character Counts' coupon from anyone in the school.  These coupons are posted on the bulletin board near the office's west door.  At the end of each nine week period they are taken off, placed in a hat, and several are drawn out to paint on our 'Wall of Character'.  Our 'wall' is near the south door of the library and down the hall.  Everyone receiving a coupon can redeem it in the cafeteria for a frozen fruit treat.

Here is our character counts pledge:  Today, I will show that I am person of character.  I will be trustworthy, respectful, responsible, caring and fair.  I will strive to be a good citizen throughout the day.
