Purpose of Activity: To practice kicking and passing skills.
Prerequisites: This game is appropriate after the students have learned the above skills and practiced them.

Teacher observations to ensure the students are using kicking and passing techniques properly.
Adaptations for Students with Disabilities:
Allow children to stand closer to the kicker when in the outfield or start closer to the roller so they won't have to run as far.
Tuesday
Name/Title: Sideline Soccer
Purpose of Activity: This activity can be used as a warm-up for those students that already possess soccer dribbling skills, or can be used as an activity to practice/improve dribbling.
Prerequisites: This game is appropriate after the students have learned the above skills and practiced them.
Suggested Grade Level: all
Assessment Ideas: Teacher observations can assess dribbling skills and ball control during this activity.
Adaptations for Students with Disabilities:
Allow children to dribble and pass without defense and shoot without a goalie.
Wednesday
Name/Title: Fitness Fun Day
Purpose of Activity: To have students participate in health-enhancing physical activity and work on muscular strength, muscular endurance, muscular flexibility and cardio vascular endurance.
Prerequisites: Knowledge of basic warm-up, exercises, calisthenics and cool down routine.
Suggested Grade Level: all
Assessment Ideas: Teacher observations can assess proper technique and students may monitor their own progress by checking their pulse for individual target heart rate.
Modify the difficulty of each exercise to best fit the student”s individual needs.
Thursday
Name/Title: Soccer
Purpose of Activity: To engage the students in a game that emphasizes practicing all of the basic soccer skills (e.g., correct punting, dribbling, trapping and passing.)
Prerequisites: This game is appropriate after the students have learned the above skills and practiced them.
Suggested Grade Level: all
Assessment Ideas:
Teacher observations to ensure the students are using the correct punting, dribbling, trapping and passing techniques properly.
Adaptations for Students with Disabilities:
Allow children to dribble and pass without defense and shoot without goalie moving.
Friday
Name/Title: Bombardment
Purpose of Activity: To engage the students in a game that emphasizes motor skills (chasing, fleeing, dodging, catching, and throwing), footwork, agility, and team work.
Prerequisites: This game is appropriate after the students have learned the above skills and practiced them.
Suggested Grade Level: all
Assessment Ideas:
Teacher observations to ensure the students are using the correct skills listed above.
Adaptations for Students with Disabilities:
Allow children to throw at stationary targets.
