AR stands for Accelerated Reader and is a reading program geared to improve reading comprehension, vocabulary, and fluency. This program allows students to take tests on books they have read and their reading stories from class. The students receive points for correct responses on the tests. Prizes are given for points accumulated throughout the year. Along with individual rewards the following rewards will also be given.

AR Trophies are given every 4 weeks to the class that accumulates the most points for each grade level for each 4 weeks. Our trophies will move from classroom to classroom according to who has the most points in the 4 week period.
