Greenbrier High's Student Government Association is an organization dedicated to providing the students of GHS the opportunity to grow and develop their leadership skills and abilities by organizing events for the school, community, and state. While planning events like Homecoming, Trick or Trunk, the Community-Wide Easter Egg Hunt, and Make-A-Wish fundraisers, members have a lot of fun and make lasting friendships. SGA is composed of four groups: the Executive Board, Program Council, Class Officers, and Ambassadors' Club. The Program Council meets every Monday from 3:00 to 4:30 pm. The SGA as a whole meets every other Tuesday during club schedule. We are active members of the Tennessee Association of Student Councils (TASC), the Southern Association of Student Councils (SASC), and the National Association of Student Councils (NASC). We have traveled America with these organizations visiting such wonderful places as: Buffalo, NY; Las Vegas, NV; Houston, TX; New Orleans, LA; Virginia Beach, VA; Panama City, FL; St. Louis, MO; Orlando, FL; and Knoxville, TN.
