Meet Mrs. Kelton

This is my 11th year of teaching. I can't believe it! I taught 5th grade in White House for seven years. I have taught 6th grade at East Robertson for a year, 4th grade for two years at Woodall, and now I'm back in 5th grade. Ever since I can remember I have wanted to be a teacher. I was blessed with wonderful teachers growing up that inspired me to become a teacher myself.
I graduated from Belmont University with a math and education degree. I went back to school at Austin Peay State University and received my Master's degree in curriculum and instruction. One day I may go back to school, but I will wait until my son is older. He consumes a lot of my time!
My husband and I grew up in White House and graduated from here. Our son, Luke, is three years old. Our family time includes playing outside, playing trucks, and shooting spiderman webs at one another.
I am excited about this school year! I am very glad your child is part of my class. I look forward to what is in store for our class.
