Robertson County opened a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) Magnet program this school year. This 6th-8th grade accelerated program is held within Springfield Middle School.
This Innovation Academy is academically rigorous focusing on Project Based Learning activities that will prepare scholars for college and career. Scholars engage in hands-on,technology-based activities while exploring how to solve problems in and around our community. There are leadership, time management,collaboration and critical thinking requirements in each of the community projects.
We are partnered with colleges and businesses around middle Tennessee to provide the most authentic STEAM program possible. Scholars work together on projects designed to integrate concepts from their entire curriculum bringing Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math together.
