About Editors

Editors are more trusted users than contributors but less trusted than co-owners. When they visit your site and log in they will see an "Edit..." link and a "Manage Versions" link at the bottom of each Text/Image section. Clicking Edit allows them to edit the contents of the section. Clicking Manage Versions allows them to manage the versioning of that section. These users cannot access the Main Configuration Page of your site. Here's what Editors can do:

• They can edit the contents of a Text/Image section.
• They can create a new versioin of that section.
• They can alter the current version.
• They can designate which version is the current version.
• They can view non-current versions.
• They can upload new files.
• They can lock/unlock versions.
• They can delete versions.

Keep in mind, Editors must be given privileges for each section you want them to have editing access.
