Embedded Site and Section Properties and Contents

Editing the properties and contents for these types of sections is pratically identical.

Properties

The name you give this section overrides the name of the embedded site or section when it's displayed on your site.

You will notice there are no accedd privliges to set. SiteMaker will respect the access privileges site by the site owner of the the embedded site or section.

Contents of Embedded Sites

The embedded site name field is actually calling for the site id of the site you wish to embed. See Finding a Site to Embed for more information.

Contents of Embedded Sections

Here you are asked to supply the site id for the site where the section actually belongs. When you do this and click the Find Site button the Section to Embed menu will populate with all the sections on that site. You can embed a section the owner has hidden from navigation on their site.
