Correlation Guides for Elementary Education

Administrators, Teachers, and Parents,

The purpose of the Robertson County Correlation Guide is to align the Robertson County Mastery Guide with the Tennessee Department of Education’s Blueprint for Learning by nine-week grading periods.  While the Mastery Guide outlines all of the “accomplishments” within the Tennessee State Standards, the Correlation Guide outlines the “state performance indicators (SPIs)” which make up the assessed criterion referenced items on the TCAP.

It is our goal that all of the “accomplishments” in the Mastery Guide will be incorporated into the standards-based lessons educators prepare throughout the year.  However, extra reinforcement should be given to the SPIs in this document to ensure mastery of the assessed standards.
