Watauga's faculty and staff provide leadership not only in the classrooms, but serve in various roles as advisors, trip leaders, and club moderators. Together they provide every grade level a learning environment to encourage all students to reach their full potential and promote a lifelong love of learning. Each student is expected to achieve at a level consistent with their own abilities. To reach that goal, a wide variety of curricular materials is employed to meet the needs of individual students, focusing on developing basic skills, using learning experiences to develop positive self-concept, and providing educational activities in large and small learning groups.
