Mission Statement

    Watauga Elementary collaborates with families and community members to provide a safe learning environment that meets the academic, social, and physical needs of all children.

       

SCHOOL PROFILE:

    Watauga Elementary School is a Tennessee public school accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.  The student body is comprised of approximately 500 students in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade.  A broad curriculum includes reading, language arts, mathmatics, social studies, science, health, music, computer, library, and physical education.

   A full-time guidance counselor provides individual and small group counseling for referred students, and small/large group activities are offered weekly to students in kindergarten through fifth grades.
