Substitute
Substitute positions are part-time positions that do not require a teaching license. Substitutes may serve more than one location.
Substitute Application Steps:
- Download the application or pick one up from any Robertson County School, or the Robertson County Board of Education, 800 M.S. Couts Blvd, Springfield, TN 37172.
- Complete application thoroughly. Make sure references are completed and questions on the back page are answered, then sign the application.
- Attach a copy of your highest level of education (GED, Diploma or Degree).
- Take the Substitute Teacher Application to any Robertson County School Principal for their signature.
- Return Substitute Teacher Application and highest level of education to the Robertson County Board of Education, Attention Tammy Roberts, 800 M.S. Couts Blvd, Springfield, TN 37172.
- Attend Substitute Teacher In-Service at the Robertson County Board of Education, 800 M.S. Couts Blvd, Springfield from 8:30 – 11:30. Directions are posted on our Human Resources page through our website at www.rcstn.net. You may use map quest or our driving directions that are listed.
- Make sure you bring the following items with you to the In-Service:
- Driver’s License or State Identification Card
- Original Social Security Card
