Instructional content leaders are valuable because they help improve the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of teaching across schools. These leaders focus on curriculum, instruction, and teacher support during collaborative planning time.  instructional content leaders act as a bridge between district goals and classroom instruction, helping ensure that educational initiatives actually improve teaching and learning for students.

 

Instructional content leaders are full-time classroom teachers supporting colleagues during collaborative planning.

 

These leaders will promote Tier I instruction.  The expected work of an Instructional content leaders complements that of an academic coach, though both positions have district responsibilities.  A stipend will be paid to selected leaders.
