myON Reader

This year, all active EL students have access to the myON online reading program. myON offers our ELs a digital library of over 10,000 titles. Teachers are able to follow their students' progress and create reading and writing activities for project-based learning.

To begin, each student takes a myON placement test with the EL teacher to determine the student's reading level. Every student receives a unique username and password allowing him/her to access myON from any computer, iPad, or smart phone. Teachers create projects for students to complete in class and, when possible, at home. Our goal with myON is to provide our ELs access to visually beautiful and well-written books as they learn to read and write in English.
