An Update on TCAP and End Of Course Scores

An Update on TCAP and End Of Course Scores
Posted on 05/23/2017

On Friday, May 26, Robertson County students will receive their report cards for the 2016-2017 school year.

Originally, the Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program (TCAP) and End Of
Course (EOC) results for students in grades 3-8 and certain high school courses were going to count 10% of the final average in the assessed classes. Even though these scores are expected this week, they will not be here within the five-day window allowed by state law to count as part of the final average. Because of this, Robertson County has elected to not average these scores into students' final grades.

Quick scores will be available in June, and final reports will be released in the fall. These scores will still be used in teacher, school, and district accountability, as well as for placement of students in advanced classes and honors courses for the 2017-2018 school year. Please contact your child’s school for further information, if needed.
