Robertson County Schools will be hosting the 19th Annual Robertson County Marching Band Exhibition on September 13th at 7:00 pm at Boyce Field on the Innovation Academy of Robertson County’s campus.  “This is an opportunity for the high school marching bands to perform their 2022 programs for the other band students and parents of the county, as well as for the community,” said RCS Fine Arts Coordinator, J.R. Baker.  “Every school does not play each other in football, and they do not all attend the same competitions, so this event offers our students the opportunity to see the hard work their peers have been putting into their 2022 program since the middle of July.”

Baker continued, saying, “The exhibition also utilizes a panel of band teachers from outside the district to provide feedback to each band, so that they can better prepare for their upcoming competitions.”

This event is the nineteenth year of exhibition, and will consist of performances by the East Robertson, Greenbrier, Jo Byrns, Springfield, and White House Heritage programs.  In lieu of admission fees, the bands are asking for donations to the Stephanie D. Mason Aspiring Scholarship fund.

Baker concluded his remarks, saying, “Ms. Mason was a great supporter of the Arts in Robertson County and we wanted to contribute to the legacy that her memory inspired. All of these students work hard to put together an exciting show for their supporters at football games, and this is a great opportunity to showcase their dedication and commitment to excellence.”
