Angel Williams has been installed as the new K-8 Curriculum and Instruction Coordinator for Robertson County Schools.  She comes to the Central Office from Krisle Elementary School, where she has been principal for the past seven years.

Williams said she has mixed emotions at leaving Krisle, but is eager to assume her new responsibilities.

“While I will miss my Krisle family tremendously, I am excited to begin my new journey,” she said. “The Krisle teachers, scholars, and parents have been very supportive during my time as principal, and I am confident that Krisle will continue to become more successful each year.

“I am looking forward to working with the Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment team and consider it an honor to be able to serve Robertson County teachers as they continue to improve instruction for all scholars!”

Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment Department members Michele Galluzzi and Melanie Dickerson said their department is looking forward to working with Ms. Angel Williams.

“Her experience in elementary and middle schools will be an asset to our team,” they said in a statement. “As an administrator, she modeled instructional leadership and created a culture for teaching and learning where high expectations were valued by staff.”

Williams will assume her new duties on July 1.
