Greenbrier Middle Student Wins TDCI Poster Contest

TDCI Contest-winning Poster

The Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance (TDCI) in cooperation with the State Fire Marshal's Office (SFMO) holds a poster contest for grades kindergarten through 12th annually. Entries are sponsored by local fire departments. According to TDCI "The poster contest is a longstanding annual event used by the SFMO to promote fire safety awareness throughout Tennessee schools."

The TDCI recently announced Dylan Traufler as a winner in the 2016 Fire Prevention Poster Contest. Dylan's entry was chosen as the Division II (all TN 6th-12th grade entries) winner. The theme for the 2016 contest was "Don't Wait - Check the Date! Replace Smoke Alarms Every 10 Years."
