Mr. Warren Corbin has been selected as the interim assistant
principal for Springfield Middle School, filling the place of Dr. Patrick
Carneal, who is on extended leave with the Army National Guard.
Corbin has been with the district since 2015 and has taught
science at SMS for his entire tenure. He
said he is excited about this new position.
“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to serve as assistant
principal at Springfield Middle School,” he said. Elaborating, he continued, saying, “This
posting is special to me for several reasons.
“First, SMS is the only school where I have worked as a
teacher and I truly value what I have learned from our diverse group of
scholars.
“The second reason relates to my personal history. I graduated from the SMS campus many years ago
when it was Springfield High School, so the building holds many memories for
me.
“Finally, this posting is special because it gives me an opportunity
to support our great county. I am
honored to assume Mr. Carneal’s duties on an interim basis while he serves our
country with military duty.”
Robertson County Schools welcomes Mr. Corbin to his new position.
