Mr. Michael Cumberledge has been named as the newest assistant principal at Jo Byrns High School, replacing James Kiggans who has moved to a Central Office position.

Cumberledge, a graduate of West Virginia University, comes to the district from the Clarksville Montgomery County School System where he served most recently at Kenwood High School as their Student Support Coordinator, At Risk Coordinator, and Assistant Athletic Director.  He holds two additional degrees, a Masters from California University of Pennsylvania, and an Educational Specialist from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville.

Jo Byrns principal Jeff Haines said he’s looking forward to having Cumberledge on board as a new administrator.

“Jo Byrns High School is excited to welcome Mr. Cumberledge to the JBHS family,” he said, adding, “He brings experience and fresh ideas that will greatly benefit our students.”
