Students from JBHS and ERHS taking their education to the next level made the commitment during the National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3) signing days.

ERHS Principal Mary Cook had the following to say about their signing day on February 15:

Christopher Mullins, Lucas League, Aaryn Morris, Brandon Justice, Andrew Tobitt, Kobe Evans, and Nolan Toothman, all seniors at East Robertson High School, signed a commitment to continue their education with Tennessee College of Applied Technology at Portland. These young men have been taking dual enrollment with TCAT this school year in welding and machine technology. Today they solidified to continue their education and gain certifications based on their chosen trade, making them more marketable in the growing industry in that area. These young men were fortunate enough to be a part of a National OSHA Certification this week at TCAT. This certification they will obtain is recognized nationally. They would like to thank Robertson County Schools and TCAT at Portland for the opportunity give to them.

JBHS Principal Jeff Haines had this to say about their signing day on February 16:

These students have signed a letter of intent to attend TCAT next year after high school. TCAT is a great program that will teach students a trade they will always be able to use. Jo Byrns High School congratulates these students and wishes them the best of the luck in their future.
